Self Storage Trade Fair Madrid AESS 2025

As a family team, we packed up and flew to Madrid on March 11th, the day before the fair. After quickly getting acquainted with this beautiful (though rainy at the time) city, we met with our Spanish friends who accompanied us during the fair and who handle our Spanish clients.

First day of the fair

On the first day of the fair, while we participated in a tour and networking dinner, our partnered installation company prepared our booth. You must admit that setting up a fragment of a storage unit made an impression. We really wanted the Spanish self storage sector to see our materials in person and be convinced that we're worth trusting! And it worked out, as the first projects are already underway!

In the evening, we went to a networking dinner at the Seeds restaurant, which has been awarded a Michelin star! During this evening, we got to meet many fair participants and establish initial new contacts to continue these conversations the next day, often in very specific terms. Waiters were constantly circulating around us with wonderful finger foods, so in addition to meeting new people from the industry, we also discovered many amazing Spanish flavors! Moreover, outside we could constantly watch the chef preparing octopuses right before our eyes!

The evening concluded with the presentation of three awards in the following categories:

• Best customer service (in-person and online)
• Best newly opened self storage center
• Best innovation

Main day of the fair

On the main day of the fair, early in the morning, along with our Little Helper, we polished our booth, added a few gadgets, and waited for the first visitors who soon appeared. Perhaps some people were attracted to us by our Little Helper, who was having a great time with our company balls and throwing them to participants. Whether more clients were won over by the Little Helper or our Spanish division? We'll never know 😉

Summary

Throughout the day, we had many great conversations, and in the meantime, we could listen to very interesting lectures on a wide range of topics related to the industry in the conference hall. We won't hide it! It was a very fruitful day. We are incredibly satisfied and happy that we could participate in this event. We can't wait for the next trade fair! We can already tell you that we will be appearing at the SSSA trade fair in Malmo in June. So, will we see you there?
