What is La Convention Italiana AISI?
La Convention Italiana is one of the most important events in the Self Storage industry in Italy, organized by the AISI association – Associazione Imprese Self Storage Italiane.
The event gathers operators, manufacturers, technology suppliers and investors from across Europe. For companies like ours, it's a chance to:

Our journey to Milan
Ciao Italia! At the end of November, we went to our third industry trade fair, La Convention Italiana 2025 organized by the Italian self storage association AISI in Milan.
The market in Italy is still relatively small compared to the West, so we traveled with great expectations. On a snowy Friday afternoon, we boarded a plane from Poland to sunny Italy and... we were greeted by snow and rain!
Info: So far, at three industry events, we've encountered terrible weather three times. While rain in Sweden wasn't a surprise for us, in Spain and Italy we expected some sunshine.
Networking evening and awards gala
We spent the evening at a networking dinner combined with an awards ceremony that honored outstanding achievements of operators.
Such events are a great opportunity to:
- exchange experiences with operators from other countries
- learn about innovations being implemented in Europe
- understand how the Self Storage market is developing outside Poland
Main trade fair day – presentations and networking
The main trade fair day flew by incredibly fast. Although the presentations were given in Italian, thanks to the organizers we could follow everything live.
Even coffee breaks were organized with imagination — they took place in the form of networking speed-dates, which turned out to be a great way to quickly meet new companies and partners.
Return to Poland and... snowy landing
After a productive day, very satisfied, we packed up our stand and returned to Poland on a night flight.
Ahem... to snow-covered Poland.
Landing during snowfall, on a slippery runway, was an amazing experience. In the more negative sense.
What's next? Plans for upcoming trade fairs
We're already planning more trips to industry events in Europe.
We really hope that this time we'll be able to 'order' better weather. See you at the next trade fair!
